Happy Mother's Day To Each And Every Mother!
By Bob Lee Ride Date: May 13
NYC to Quinebaug, Ct
As I rode today, I contemplated what to say in this blog. For a while, I thought I might not say anything and just show the beauty of nature. But even beautiful flowers don’t describe the beauty of motherhood, much less the impact of motherhood on our families.
I thought this might be a good time to pay tribute to the best mom I know, but she would be embarrassed. Should I talk about the mothers of our grandchildren? I then decided this could wait for another time.
As I continued to pedal north, my mind traveled in a number of directions and I found myself tearing up not from wind but from emotions. My mind kept coming back to a very special Mom who I think about daily. Actually, if I look in a mirror at night I see her name across my chest.
It may be backwards, but I know what it says and who she is. Before I left on the RIDE, Jim and Aimee Chamernik gave me this t-shirt that says, Ask about Aimee.com.
Aimee is not only being the best possible Mom she can be to Nick, Emily and Zachary, but she is also sharing her private life to help us all appreciate each moment of each day. Thank you Aimee!
Please take a moment to read these three articles. You will find that life takes on new meaning. After that, spend a little more time on Aimee's Web Site.

Many of you don't know what Mother's Day means to me unless you read the stories of Bob's first ride. Bob finished his first ide for 3 reasons on Mother's Day. Bob is truly a wonderful man and his mother should be very proud of the son she brought up in this world of unknown. I want Bob's mom to know she has raised a wonderful human being....one that will never be forgotten!!!! Happy Mother's Day Anne!!!! Aimee, A Very Happy Mother's Day to you and your family!
love,
Lisa

Bob, Thanks for the pictures. We had a freeze and a lot of early blooms were lost. I particularly enjoyed the dogwood blossom. I enjoyed mothers Day with my children and grandchildren with a brunch followed by a bike ride on the Grant Trail in St. Louis. I thought about you and your ride and was pleased to be a small sponsor through Designer Blinds. Thank you, Lucille
